Starting a career as a barber, Alta has strong skills in both barbering and styling in any type of hair. She is exceptionally good at invigorating healthy hair, weaves, coloring, custom wigs, and of course her first love barbering.

Altalisia Haralson was raised in Cleveland OH and has roots tied to Detroit, MI. She has been in  the hair care business since 1997. She's the owner/operator of Alta’s Hair Studio since 2002. Alta's has expanded to it's present location in 2004. 

Alta has done work for the Miss Black USA ‘s  "Gap Red for AIDS” ad. In Krave Magazine, she has worked with noted celebrity photographer Derrick Blanks and Krave Magazine lead photographer Jerris Madison to name a few.

But even with all that, she just loves working with her clients.
