Working closely with local colleges Derrick formed an educational curriculum call Bridging the Gap. These courses were designed to better prepare future cosmologist entering into the beauty industry.

Derrick has trained with Pivot Point and Mizani (Farouk system). Continuous education is a must, so he attended many of the local and national beauty shows and seminars through out the year. Trained in ALL textures of hair (multi-cultural). Specializing in, designer cuts and the latest barbering techniques, custom colors, and style.
